Places to Eat: New York
Happy Monday loves! Over the weekend, I went to NYC to visit one of my oldest friends and fellow fashion blogger Amber of Mademoiselle Lyons for her 26th birthday! She happened to ask me the weekend before, and I immediately started looking at bus tickets! I ended up finding a round trip ticket for $35 through Bolt Bus so I couldn't say no to that! New York has sooo many amazing places to eat, it was hard choosing where to go but I think you'll want to try these 6 places out when you visit NYC next!
Places to Eat
This quaint place in Soho was a great place to get our day going! I had the Manouri Cheese and Pear sandwich and all I can say was YUMMMMMYYYY! @smiletogonyc

2. Calexico
Y'all! I have been trying to find really good Mexican food in the DMV area, and it apparently doesn't exist here! So I'm very happy I stumbled upon the Calexico Street Cart! I got the rolled chicken quesadilla with their crack sauce. I really felt like I was in heaven! Also my hands were freezing while I was eating it and it was so worth it! Haha! If you go to NYC, this place is a must! @calexiconyc

3. Laduree in Soho
The last time I came to NYCm Amber and I visited Laduree in the heart of NYC, however this time we came to the Soho location! I thought it was the same size, but I was blown away! It was a full restaurant inside of there, and a garden with even more seat outside of the brick and mortar We ended up getting french fries (for me duh) fried puffs, macaroons, sorbet, and crafted cocktails If this is what food in Paris is like, I need to go ASAP! @ladureeus

4. Refinery Rooftop
So I had no idea that Refinery 29 had their own hotel! I definitely want to stay here one of these days, however the rooftop was where it's at! I can only imagine how popping it is during the summer time! We came here for my friends birthday dinner, but next time I want to come during the day! We had french fries and shared a margarita pizza-the best one I've ever had! my favorite drink I got that night was the Pom Rosemary Mule! Did I mention you get a perfect view of the Empire State Building? @refineryrooftop

5. Blank Slate Tea
If you are obsessed with the color pink, and tea look no further! Blank Slate Tea is everything I could imagine and more! Like the millennial I am, I stalked the HELL out of New York hashtags and I found this place! Their Instagram had me drooling, I wanted to try everything, but I settled for the Rose Tea Latte and the Pink Hummus Toast! @blankslatetea

6. The Penrose
When Amber described this place as a spot that Blair Waldorf would hang out, I was immediately up to go here! (We have an unhealthy obsession with Gossip Girl!) Unfortunately when Amber and I got here we came a little too late, there was no where to sit and extra crowded! I did peep at their menu and so many things sounded good and their crafted cocktails looked amazing! So I think I will hit this place up the next time I come to NYC! @penrosebar

Well I hope that I have sold you on these 6 places! Let me know if you end up going- tag me too!
XOXO,
