Summer ☀️ Staycations Pt. 2
Hello darlings!! I am back from my social media break!! If you didn't know I took a break, you can read all about it here. A couple of weeks ago, I attended another fun blogger staycation at Mountain Shadows Resort with Bumble BFF! Scroll down to read about it and see the amazing pictures!
About Mountain Shadows:
Mountain Shadows is a reinvented resort in Paradise Valley located in-between Camelback Mountain. It once was a resort back in 1959 where actresses from Hollywood would escape their everyday lives to relax. Mountain Shadows fell under new management 2 more times before they closed their doors in 2004. Rebuilt, and re-introduced this past spring Mountain Shadows reopened it's doors again!
We started out exploring Mountain Shadows Resort, and finding all the best places to take pictures throughout our stay. Breathtaking views all around you.
About Bumble BFF:
Bumble BFF is a subsection of Bumble (Yes, the dating app) where you use the app to find new best friends in your area! You can also use the app when on vacation and be spontaneous to meet up with another gal for happy hour!! Who doesn't like a good happy hour am I right?! What are you waiting for? Download the Bumble App and start finding your girl gang asap!
About Hearth 61:
Hearth'61 is an open kitchen, bar and living room inside of Mountain Shadows. Hearth 61' is open for breakfast, (brunch for us gals who stayed up way too late chit chatting !) lunch, and dinner. From hand crafted cocktails, to well seasoned plates to share, and last but not least delectable deserts, Hearth 61' has it all!
We then had cocktails, apps, dinner, and desert over much needed girl talk. We literally talked and laughed for 2 hours! This is what happens when you are a busy bee and don't have time to hang with friends!
Yoga at Citizens Club:
Citizens Club is Mountain Shadows' on site fitness center. Gym equipment fills the work out room that overlooks the AMAZING pool as an reward for going hard in the gym! Here at Citizens club, there are multiple classes to choose from such as yoga, TRX, yoga and more. If you live in the area, you can pop into a class with your gals for only $25! #awesomedeal
To stay energized we grabbed a freshly made green juice at Juice Bar before we started our 60 minute yoga class! I haven't done yoga in a while, so I was a little rusty. This yoga class was the perfect start to my week off from the school. I was able to fully relax and just breathe. I relaxed so much that I fell asleep, and I may or may not have snored (loudly) 😂. Our instructor was amazing and helped us all when we needed it the most, and adjusted our bodies to get the most out stretching.
Brunching at Hearth 61:
Did you see all that amazing food above?! If that was dinner, could brunch be better?! I'll leave that up to you! What I love most about brunch is that is that if you're not in the mood for breakfast you can get away with eating lunch at 11am and no one will judge you! I'm stating this because I got grilled cheese and fries (obvi). Don't forget mimosas and bloody mary's are always a great way to start the morning after a work out! Cheers!
Prosecco & Pool:
Can Mountain Shadow's pool be more inviting? We had such a fun time with a live DJ and our own cabana, and to top it off we had Prosecco and fresh fruit to munch on! I swam for a little while before heading home. I will definitely come back to stay here at Mountain Shadows. The staff went above and beyond to fufill the needs of our group!
Here are some solo shots of me that weekend!
I hope you were encouraged by these post/pictures to stay at Mountain Shadows!
